Feast and be delighted
the roses disrobe
in obedience
for a flower chosen
by such as she
gladly relinquishes
its skin
the almond earth
righteously gives her pigment power
as the starfish anoint her eyes
she hides not her grace
but protects the world
from her compelling face
she needs not touch
for that would be too much
imprisoned by her own beauty
she watches
the love of others
unloved
waiting for a lovesmith power
to sharpen
her womanly tools

Secrets
you tell me everything
but I keep secrets
you unravel vicious tales
but I keep secrets
you like about you
you lie about me
you lie about them
you lie about us
but I keep red velvet
bandana secrets
you spin fancy yarns
embroider fancy stories
I smile a one cornered smile
and keep secrets
you depart full and tantalized
I remain engorged and hungry
full of my secrets

the weed seeds
of his mortality
wilts guilt
as he smiles
fondling your
indecisiveness
gaining
strength
pertaining
to the immoral
majority

in the dark canal of
your ears

four and twenty school girls
pure as the driven snow
protected by uncle loplop
more than the world will ever know

sing a song of loplop
a pocket full of peace

each one his chosen niece

bend me gently back
we'll tango til tomorrow
forgets that night is black
swoon me over loplop
hide me with your wings

anyway
ha ha
I know you want
to be me
if only
you had the
nerve
so you look and look and look
and wonder
what its like to be me
to be free
to wear red
with writing
on my head
if you weren't
so afraid
you would come close
and I'd let you
wear this one
because I have
another
it is yellow
with black writing
but you are afraid
so I keep wearing
the red.

she wore the lightening
like a necklace
around her neck
her fingertips were
flashes in the night
that kept grown men awake
she came without
thunder
no warnings to announce
she was near
she followed him
as he dragged his anvil
leaving tidbits
of electricity in his path
hoping him to look back and see
the network that was waiting
for him to take by storm.
