knifing is too abrasive
so it must be
broken away gently
inhaling its aroma
letting it butterfly kiss linger
lip balming
from lip corner to lip corner
slowly inhale
capturing the love tendered morsel
allowing it to dissolve
caressing your tongue
skiing from jaw to jaw
and then
when it is bread no more
let it
ski down
the slope of your palate
leaving your tongue
regretting
and
begging
for
more
